Loras Neuroth is President of Independent Insurance Services and holds the professional designation of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor). He was born and raised in Marshalltown and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1964. Loras attended Minnesota State in Mankato, Minnesota with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. He maintains a high profile in community activities as a member of the Marshalltown Rotary, Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa and Iowa Association of Business and Industry. Neuroth serves on various boards and committees including: Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa Governmental Affairs committee, Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce Legislative committee, Marshalltown Economic Development Committee (MEDIC), Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center Board of Trustees, Community Y board, past President of the Marshalltown Rotary Club. Loras is married to the former Karen McKay and they have two daughters: Heather and Stephanie.
