Dan Mead is a former Marshalltown high school graduate and native to the Marshalltown community. He is a University of Northern Iowa graduate and has been employed with Independent Insurance since 1987. Dan was formerly the Vice President-Office Manager for Brenton Bank in Marshalltown. He and his wife, Deb, who teaches in the Marshalltown Community District, have two children: Matt and Angie.
