Owner/Agent Lance Horbach joined the Independent Insurance Services team in 2000. Lance specializes in large account sales development, medical facilities, nursing homes, large phone/internet carriers, water districts and hard-to-write accounts statewide. He also holds the position of State Representative in the Iowa Legislature. Lance is the Ranking Member on the Labor & Industrial Relations Committee, where he floor manages controversial business legislation on behalf of Iowa employers, including Med Mal reform, Workers Comp, unemployment, Right to Work, and other legislation related to employer's business environment. Lance is married to his wife, Jody, with four children: Amy, Kendra, Melissa, Nick and five grandchildren.
